Pastor Duane Butler

With nearly 30 years in ministry, Duane Butler is a seasoned speaker and teacher of God's Word.  As the senior pastor of World Worship Church in Charlotte, NC, he brings a wealth of experience and passion to his role. From the pulpit to the conference and lecture halls, Pastor Duane infuses his words with a love for God, a love for humanity, and a commitment to perpetual learning.

Before his pastoral journey, Duane contributed to the community as a mathematics teacher in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools for 14 years.  He holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Johnson C. Smith University and has furthered his education with an MBA and a M.Ed in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University.

In 2019, Pastor Duane's dedication expanded to mental health advocacy.  He and World Worship Church partnered with Mental Health America for Suicide Prevention Awareness and QPR training.  Over 150 adults and teenagers have been trained through the church with this life-saving program.  Their efforts focus on building bridges between mental health and faith communities.  This commitment led to the creation of the Mental Health Awareness month in July aiming to destigmatize seeking help.  He now sits on the Board of Directors for Mental Health America of the Central Carolinas.

Collaborating with Silent Images, Pastor Duane conducts enlightening sessions with counselors and therapists, educating faith communities and offering practical solutions.  His guiding motto, "We're better together. Love God and Love People," embodies his approach to unity and compassion.

Duane Butler's journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication to enriching lives, fostering connections, and uplifting understanding.
